MULE DEER HUNTS ARE STILL AVAILABLE FOR THE 2009 SEASON!

The Nansel Ranch hunting program is designed with the hunter in mind. You will have the entire property, over 25,000 continuous acres, at your disposal. Our guest house is located on the ranch making all of our property easily accessible.

We do not guide, but you will get a tour of the ranch the day before the hunt begins. We also provide a topo map with information specific to the species you are chasing. We recognize that a property 25,000 acres in size may be overwhelming, but we will do whatever it takes to help provide you with a successful hunt.

We can advise you as to what has worked best in the past, and have several means available to help retrieve your downed game. This means that you are able to use your hunting skills without interference.

Montana licenses are required. For our out-of-state clients, we provide Landowner Sponsor certificates at no cost. This enrolls you in a much higher success rate Mule Deer drawing with FW&P. This program cuts the cost of your tag by two thirds when compared with the Outfitter tags. A preference point system is now in place for the general drawing, as well.
